I Fit The Age and Gender You're Looking For, So Why Isn't This Test in My Available Surveys?
<p><b><i>I fit the age and gender qualifications you show for a test, but I can’t see it in my Available Surveys. Why not? </i></b></p> <p>This is one of the questions we are asked most frequently. In addition to general quotas based on testers’ age and gender, we also have other quotas to meet for every test. Some have to do with product use. Others have to do with testers’ lifestyles and demographics. Some quotas are much harder to fill than others. If we know that we’ll have a hard time finding qualified testers in a specific quota, we will open the test to them <i>first,</i> so that they have the most session options available if they qualify. When we have to find the proverbial needle in a haystack, we certainly don’t want to lose that person because there are no available times that work for them. </p> <p>For example, let’s say Test #12345 needs 200 testers, men and women between the ages of 18 and 65. However, this test also requires that 100 of these testers must be employed full-time. Session times range from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Since most full-time employees work during daytime hours, we need to manage this quota by opening the test to full-time workers <i>first</i>, giving them access to the widest selection of session times. If we don’t do this, we will have to find full-time employees who can come to a test during the day. That would make a difficult test even harder to fill. So although you will see the test in your available surveys at some point, you won't always be among the first to see it.</p> <p>Since every test is unique, sometimes you will be among the first to see a test, and other times you won’t be. In our weekly mailings on Mondays, we’ll do our best to predict when a test will be open to all age ranges and genders. In the meantime, just check back frequently because we update our tests every single day.</p>
